Kyle Walker "In Color"

Here it is, we have the full “In Color” part from Kyle Walker. This guys rips the whole time. The spots he skates just aren’t normal and it seems like he has glue on his shoes because when he flips that board it suctions back to his shoes, its kind of gnarly. Now sit back and enjoy this part.

Street League Qualifying

Street League at X Games kicked off today in Barcelona and it did not disappoint. It was not fun waking up at 5:45 AM this morning to watch, but it was worth it. Everyone that skated absolutely killed it and the course looks like it would be so much fun to skate.
So once again some crazy stuff went down at the competition this morning. The biggest news is that the Street League Select Series winner, Manny Santiago, has qualified in 2nd for the finals tomorrow. That is awesome for Manny; his skating was on point today. It was a total bust and a half for Ryan Sheckler though. He didn’t qualify for the finals for the second time in a row. He looked like he was well on his way there then tweaked his ankle when trying a frontside half-cab flip down the impact section.
It was awesome seeing Paul Rodriguez not only qualify for the finals but he is in first right now, and Chris Cole squeezed himself in there in eigth place. These guys weren’t in the finals in Brazil so they have something to prove at this Street League. P-Rod annihilated the impact section and skated it switch the whole time.
Ishod Wair and Shane O’neill were having some trouble in the impact section. Ishod ended up missing every trick he tried and Shane walked away with only 1 make. Unfortunately they’re not in tomorrows final. The Frenchman, Bastien Salabanzi also fell into this category. At least all of them looked like they were having the best time out there.
Other big news is that Nyjah has finally shown that he is human. He fell twice and barely qualified. It went down to the last trick for him, he needed a 5.1 to get into the finals and pulled out a 180 switch krooks on the hubba in the impact section to sneak himself in there, that sneakster.
Here are the full results from this mornings qualifying round.
Paul Rodriguez
Manny Santiago
Torey Pudwill
Nyjah Huston
Luan Oliveira
Sean Malto
Mikey Taylor
Chris Cole

Lakai rider AJ McCallister and the shipping manager Dubsy were itching for a sesh so they hit up the new UBC Park the other night. Here’s some of the footage they got from the sesh. This park looks pretty legit; it has everything from ledges to rails to tranny. Looks like they had good time there. Take a look.

Here’s this week's Throwback Thursday, Mike Mo’s part from the Forecast video. This was really the first time people got to see a part from Mike Mo and damn did this kid deliver. His style is one of the best out there and he can seriously do any trick whether it’s a super techy trick or an old school one that we usually see Koston do. Watch this, then watch his Fully Flared part, then watch his Pretty Sweet part, they just keeping getting better and better.

Let's Skate Some Waterslides

Skating an abandoned waterpark looks like one of the most fun things to do. Justin Brock, Dan Plunkett and couple of their buddies just found one in Atlanta and it looks they had the best time. The first thing they decide to skate looks terrifying and then they use a slide as snake run. Seriously, it looks like the best time. Take a look.

It’s also nice seeing that he rides for Huf footwear now since ES went on their little “creative hiatus” whatever the hell that means.
Blast From The Past

It doesn’t matter what kind of skater you are or the kind of skating you like to watch, watching the legend, Christian Hosoi, shred a bowl is one of the raddest things to see. Christian cruised down to Lance Mountain's house for a sesh in the bowl and threw this edit together for Pro-Tec. Watch this and then go find a pool or a bowl and skate it, just make sure to pad up.
